Charging speed is capped by the car as well as the charger. A 22kW unit only delivers 22kW if the car's onboard AC charger accepts it, so check the vehicle spec first.
Not sure what the supply will take? Set the maximum charging current between 6 and 32A on the rotary switch inside the unit, to suit the supply and circuit design.

09 / QUESTIONS
Common questions.
Do I need a three-phase supply for the 11kW or 22kW model?
Yes. The 11kW and 22kW models need a three-phase supply. Most UK homes are single-phase, so the 7kW model is the usual home choice.
Can the charging current be limited?
Yes. The installer sets the maximum between 6 and 32A on a rotary switch inside the unit.
How do I start a charge?
With the app, an RFID card, or by scanning the QR code on the unit.
Will it fit my car?
It has a tethered Type 2 connector, the standard AC connector on most electric cars sold in the UK. Check your vehicle handbook to be sure.
Is it compliant with the smart charge point rules?
Yes. Every unit is supplied with a statement of compliance under the Electric Vehicles (Smart Charge Points) Regulations 2021. Certificates are available to download.
Who installs it?
Your charger should be installed by a qualified electrician to BS 7671. Electricians can buy at trade prices with a Terelec trade account.
